Fel Pro #1074 works fine. I and many others have used them. Last year I used them with 17psi and had no problems, though the mileage last season was limited. This year I am going to use Cometics, but they are expensive and clearly not needed for most combos.

Cool, Thanks for the info guys.

I know that my current Grotyohann headers cant use the Felpro cuz the bolt whole are a litle different on the Grots. Did anyone have any problems with these gaskets and Hooker LT?

Thanks,
Claude

Yeah I think they jumped the gun there. They are FP 1406's for the headers.

Claude... I'm using percy's dead-soft aluminum with ARP 1" bolts. I have gone through much BS to arrive at this combo. The only other thing I'd suggest is those split lock bolts (Breslin and I believe I saw ARP ones in the new Jegs). The gaskets are excellent. The have worked where 1406's have failed. I am only running 6# but my cam has a fairly large exhaust duration and lift if that makes any difference. Regardless, they are awesome gaskets.

I don't have personal experience but with the copper gaskets it has a raised section that it supposed to contact the header. Sometime the hole doesn't match up with the hole on the gasket and you will have an irreparable leak.

Go with percy's or that parker-hannifin one.

I'm o-ringed with copper gaskets. Not sure who's gaskets, but they are copper.

Once I get it fully tuned, I'll let you know if it holds.

I put them on but the car has seen only a few miles at most from the shop home to the shop for alignment and back home..
