How much extra timing do you think I can run with this setup. Summit says 75-100 additional HP. They must really crank the timing up to get those figures.

What? Exaggerated horsepower claims from someone selling performance parts? Nonsense!

You do get most of the power from the timing, but you are dumping extra fuel in there too. Subtract the losses from the water, and you have a healthy net gain if you do it right. I'm sure it is going to be different for everybody.

I have pushed my P1SC to the limit so I can't increase the boost any more unless I upgrade to the D1SC. So timing is my only way to get more out of my engine. I don't have detonation. I'm not running out fuel. IAT's are acceptable. So I'm not sure this mod would be beneficial to my car.

Combination Motorsports said they noticed no gain on their car when they used it and it was more of a safety device to control detonation or used to get rid of a restrictive intercooler.

Has anyone seen substantial gains with this mod?
