I have some weird issue going on that is causing it, I just can't find it. When I had my nitrous setup before I pulled it apart it'd run 215 or so down the highway. Backing it off to about 60mph though will keep it around the 205 mark now, but it should be running A LOT cooler.

Man my block cracked in the same place, #5 cylinder was full of water. No broken pistons or signs of detonation on the plug. It broke on 5 psi too! I'm thinking the head stud started seeping and caused it to hydrolock. It was eating a small amount of coolant for about a month prior to this, but never ran hot so i kept driving it daily. Then one day she wouldnt crank.

sorry to hijack, your car's looking good!

Does that rad have a built in trans cooler? Or what are you planning to do to cool it? Assumming it will still be somewhat of a street car.

Im anxious to see how well that tranny cooler setup works. I was have been thinking about running a external only and using a fan infront of the radiator. Im running the tru cool 4490 trans cooler 22,000k rating.

That's interesting. Can you describe it more or show pics?

What did you use to paint the engine bay with?

Ya get pics Im really debating on wether it would be good for a street car or not. I want more engine bay room without spending 400-500 on a radiator.

Keep it coming.

Low impedence converter boxes..

Using the stock controls for my new heater setup and also to turn on/off my power inverter and also for my 2 step.

The "relay bar"

Modified heater core(building our own heater setup, stock stuff is gone)

GTS 76 Jet hot coated exhaust housing

I'll be dropping my compression to 9.1:1 with the new block, will be conservative and run 12lbs on pump(no injection).
