Got me a new toy for the shop

Hey guys, ordered up a Miller Diversion 165 Tig Welder (AC and DC). I am picking it up Saturday and will hopefully play with it this weekend! Should make for some sweet looking turbo kits

The tig will be slower, but so much cleaner. Practice!

Keep the mig around for equast and such.

I am definitely keeping the mig... especially for tacking pipes together quick.

Cool. You should be all practiced up by the time tax season arrives and I'm ready for a kit.

I have the same welder. Pretty decent machine. Takes some getting used to.

looks like it

Jon - if youve ever done oxy-acetalyn welding, its the same concept, just keep the pool going. Nice thing about TIG vs. MIG, is the TIG has a little more "flexible" join, so if its in something structural, its not going to crack, it will flex a little. Perfect for exhaust and body work.
