Re: Gauges with one ????
Well, unless you want to mount your FP gauge outside the windshield, you'll be going with an electric one. I've seen an autometer mechanical boost gauge stick before, not permenantly, but just occasionally. Otherwise I dont think I've heard anything bad about them. I dont know about an electric boost gauge though

Re: Gauges with one ????
I have always looked at autometer as the best but I don't have any personal experience with other gages. I have an electric fuel psi gage and mech. boost gage. Both are Autometer autolites and unfortunately, the boost gage is off. It reads almost 1.5 pounds with the car off. But the warranty will cover that. I just have to send it back.
Btw, you can have a mechanical fuel psi gage inside the car. You have to have an isolator. I prefer the electric though as it is simpler. Just costs a little more.

Re: Gauges with one ????
I'm running the Z series Autometer electric fp and mech vac-30/boost-20 gauges. I also run an Autogauge tach (made my Autometer)
All three gauges are off.
I do like Autometer, but it's probably worth your money to buy a little further up the Autometer line, instead of going with the budget stuff...
