Fuel psi sending unit hookup question.

You'd think for 192 bucks, you get correct hardware to hook the gage up.

What do I need exactly to hook this Autometer gage up to the fuel rail?

Re: Fuel psi sending unit hookup question.

I went to Lowes today and tried to find something to make it work. Even the guy who works that department said he couldn't find anything to help me out.

What can I do?

Call AutoMeter ... they'll have Earls part numbers. You'll need some sort of AN elbow and a 1/8 NTP adapter.

Youll need a a foot and half of steel braided line to conenct your schrader valve and then hook the other part of it to an npt adapter which will conenct to your fp sensor. I'll go look at my adapter and see what size you'll most likely need.

Are you trying to hook the fuel line onto the fuel rail? All i did was take out the schrader valve and hooked my line up there. Works fine.

Re: Fuel psi sending unit hookup question.

Yeah, it's for an electrical gage. There is no way mine will hook to the schraeder valve. It is 1/8 npt on the sending unit. The valve is 1/4 flare and both are male.

We use a lot of fittings at work so I will see if I can throw something together there. If not, I will call Autometer.

I am riding around with a blower on the car and can't put my foot in it. Honestly, how many of you could do that?
