the crank was replaced and the pistons are forged...
guy who built the motor said it'll last all day at 10 psi...
any ideas?

If it wasn't a specific request for low compression, your best luck will land you in the stock compression range. Bad luck could put you much higher with flat tops, stock heads, decked block and milled heads.
If its stock range I would probably run it 8-10 with good fuel, but that would be pushing your luck.

all i originally wanted done was an lt4 kit.. hotcam
then he pulled it apart and was wondering why it worked due to the crank's condition seeing that it was burnt
so i had him stroke it after seeing the need for the new crank
unless the crank changes the compression, i think i'm the lt4 compression which is 11.1 isnt it?
