This is kind of a generic question to ask but I will try to explain it as clear as possible. I was waundering what kind of set up some you guys and girls were running and what kind of times you ran. I am going to list the information that I am seeking below. I hope this thread will help some of us new guys sort our cars out for optimal performance.

1. Style of induction (supercharger, turbo) and unit (P1SC, T76 etc)

2. Motor (lt1, ls1, l98) and cubic inches

3. Motor Mods (what heads, cam, compression ratio)

4. Transmission (auto, stick) type (a4, t56, t350 etc) if auto what converter

5. Suspension Upgrades if any (all opinions welcome on brand)

6. tuning (dyno tune, lt1 edit, pcm forless etc.)

7. Power levels ( rwhp/torque)

8. Performance (drag strip times, road course or top speed)

Any other misc. information that you feel is important would also be appreciated.

Again I am trying to help all of us new guys sort our automobiles without making to many mistakes. Everyones input is welcome.

 

You already know what I'm putting together, but I'll list it here for the thread, even though I'm a noob to the FI crowd also

1: Supercharger Vortech T-Trim 16 PSI

2: LT1 355

3: Ported cast iron LT1 heads, LT4 Hotcam, 8.2 to 1 compression ratio

4: A4 4l60e stock converter for now

5: Oly suspension mods to date are Eibach Pro Kit Springs

6: Baseline tune from Madwolf then tweaked by me with LT1 Edit

7 and 8: to be continued

255 LPH fuel pump, 55 lb injectors (no FMU), 3.73 gears, Hooker coated LTs

 

Why would you put cast iron heads on a boosted motor?

 

I needed the bigger combustion chambers, these are only temporary until I get some of the Trick Flow heads. It mgiht not go together with these however becuase It's looking like I might be able to pull together enough cash to go ahead with the trick flows on the initial assembly.
