oh yeah realquick, i forgot to ask, have you ever tried to change a set of edelbrock lt1 headers so you can turn them around backwards? i think im gonna try to change the ones tha came off my car and maybe build another kit

Sounds good. I get the vbands from www.racepartsolutions.com as they are the best IMO. They have a male groove on and a female groove on the other flange to keep them on center and sealed.

i just ordered 2 sets off ebay. they look good in the pic, they ssaid they had a male and female too. ill try em and see. they were $63 shipped for 2 kits

i got my vband kits today from ebay. ill post pics later and ty to get them welded on on saturday or sunday. still waiting on my jbends from summit

yeah i thought so. it just looks like ill have to shorten 1 runner to clear the steering shaft.

eBay v bands are mostly ****. they don't seal up proper as they are improperly machined. if the clamp bottoms out on the ring you know its garbage.

i got mine from ATP turbo i had to die grind a bit to get the tube in but they seal great.. if you want them to be self aligning just leave the one pipe stick past 1/8" and leave the other back 1/8"

The edelbrocks work in the normal location, not sure if you flip them and aim them forward.

thanks draco, i love complements! when i built them i mainly had clearance in mind. now all of my plugs and wires are easy to get to, and not at risk of getting melted by heat. These things fit awesome. just as realquick noticed, the front bolts are tight(mainly passenger side) but thats all. theres even room between the abs module. anyway, i thought abought building another set to sell but fights im gonna convert the edelbrock headers that were on there and make a crossover pipe with a t4 turbo mount.

that was only $150. 8ft straight pipe 2 j bends 6' of -3 hose and 2 90* fittings. im gonna try to get the turbo mounted on sunday
