Finally got my DP run

Here is a few pics of my down pipe. I am 95% sure it's going to clear the block, but I have to wait for the block to get here to find out. That's why I haven't welded it yet, just tape for now. I will keep posting pictures as progress happens.

im assuming your just using the motor plate, no motor mounts. if not, it looks like it will clear the block, ide be a little worried about starter clearence though

Yep, just motor plate. I know it's going to be tight around the starter area. I have a mini starter for the car that will be wraped with heat shield. If it's to close I will find a way to move the DP over a bit. 5" is massive I tell ya.

Well.. Looks like turbo kit is getting put on hold... The car is leaving for the chassis shop to get a full 25.5 moly cage put in.. I will post pictures of the progress as I will be stoping by the chassis shop once a week or so.

Re: Finally got my DP run

I finally had some time to upload some photo's of some of the work being done to the car. I will not be using the sheetmetal intake due to the fact that there is no way it's going to fit under any sort of hood. The heads are at the machine shop right now, but I had the preliminary flow numbers, I know they peak at 357 intake and 25x on the Ex. side with no stack. The tires are 29.5X11.5 ET Drag. The car goes off to the chassis shop this Friday, I can't wait.
