This car is far from lean.

Just goes to show how far you can push the stock lines.

Yeah, I was planning on using the Racetronix in-tank dual pump kit but was going to upgrade the fuel lines. If his car isn't starving for fuel turning all the way to 6500, I don't think my 357 ci with an F1 and 15-18psi will starve.

BADST95,

You may have posted this but I did not see it on your mod list. What head gaskets are you using and what piston rings are you using?

Keep in mind that I am using a F.A.S.T. engine management system as the stock PCM wouldn't be able to handle this set up.

I have to look through my receipts to find out who the manufacturer of the copper head gaskets is. The rings are commonly used in nos applications... I gotta find that receipt. Crap... I'm drawing a blank.

Of course it would, why wouldn't it? You would need an impedance converter though.

Do you honestly think that the stock computer has same the tuning ability as a F.A.S.T? Not even close.

if you know what your doin with lt1_edit it does...but it takes some work just like FAST does. also, streetability is better with stock pcm, again, if you know what your doing. FAST is nice, just too much money IMO considering i already have lt1_Edit

I'm sure this has been asked before but what kind of modifications did you need to do in order to make the F1 head unit fit properly? If I'm not mistaken ATI doesn't make a LT1 F1 kit.

Edit: Crazy numbers Now get some times

Tuning ability, yes the stock PCM has the same (or greater) tuning ability, there is way more to adjust in LT1edit or tunercat tables than what is in the FAST but then again the PCM controls more than just fuel injection, speed no. FAST is nice for it's real time adjustability and instant wideband feedback. I have both and have used both, but to say 700 Hp is to extreme for the stock PCM is absolutely false.

From what I understand, The F1 fits into the same mounting bracket as the D1. The cases are supposed to be the same size, the F1 is what I am wanting to use.
