Allright guys, I've been doing a crash course in turbo's for the last week or so. I've been learning to read pressure maps, turbo identities and so on.....

I'm trying to get my feet wet with the turbo's before I blow a lot of expensive parts with a set-up. I want to build a complete junkyard right now as cheap as possible. It will be blow through and intercooled.

I have:
355 9:1 short block (GM steel crank, good rods, forged pistons)
041 GM heads 2.02/1.60 64cc (will port them)
'lil hydraulic turbo/N2O cam

HP/Torque goals is whatever can be achieved with junkyard turbos with a shift point of 6000rpm or less.

Turbo selection~ Seems like the best I can find is T-Bird (85-86) TB03 60 trims. Sucks that they are water cooled though.(more piping but I have a remote 2nd radiator) and I think they have internal waste gates??

Does anyone know of a better junkyard turbo that I can use? I would like to crank the boost way up but don't think any junkyard set-ups can handle that.
