Engine life on 8 lbs of boost.

Just wondering how much 8lbs of boost from a d1sc will affect my stock internals. I am also running a 224/224 .563/.563 112 cam, is it crucial that I swap it out? Also what size injectors should I run. What fuel pump should i be running. And besides Guages what else will I need?

Don't expect the pistons/ring to last at 8 PSI... I wouldn't go over 6 unless you're willing to run the risk of busting them up.

The cam should work okay though. There are definitely way better cams for a supercharger, but it won't hurt any.
