what?? IMO, and this is just that, the perfect exhaust for a turbo car is a minimal one. Hell, if I could tolerate it, I'd run a 4 foot pipe after my turbo and dump it. I figure the turbo itself creates enough backpressure...

They are Corvette valve covers, made by GM. I don't recall the part #'s but I'm sure you could find more info if you did a search in the LT1 tech forum.

I'll get some pics of the exhaust soon as well.

their theory was most likely based the idea that as the exhaust gasses get further from the turbo, they begin to cool down, and cooler gas loses velocity........so they figured you should decrease the pipe size to maintain the high velocity

atleast im guessing that was their theory
