All I can say is to run tests and pay close attention to the scanner. I had some tuning issues when trying to run closed loop, so I keep it in open loop now. You could also play with it in SD mode to better isolate the problem.

My tuner and I did talk about SD tuning. I found out the tunercat version we were using was outdated so we are looking into the updated one. it sounds like that might just do the trick. Thanks again.

Edit: I understand open and closed loop now so I deleted that comment.

I had same rich problem in closed loop part throttle. (App... 97ss obd2 383 - D1 AFR 190/ 72# Seimens, Cam...231/240* - .540/ 560 114lsa) Used LT1 edit ver 2.2 to drop MAF cal 2% and allowed BLM updates >= 60kpa. Also, I learned that you must bypass and re-circ the air @ part throttle. If any air is lost after MAF measurement, the engine will fuel very rich. Note... I run my MAF on the suction side of the compressor. Fuel pressure is set @ 43psi @ 1000 rpm. Hope this helps. B.

Yeah that is helpful. After further testing here is what I discovered. The car is mostly very rich WITHOUT a load. The symptoms are: from a stop a rev up a little to get going and the car sputters from too much fuel. After the clutch engages and the weight of the car is on the motor it leans out where it should be. If I try to get a bit aggressive I get some fuel buildup and it will continue to run bad after clutch engagement. Or so it seems.

This sounds like how my car ran when I popped the intake elbow off the throttle body. You might check for leaks in your tubing.

I'll double check all my runs. That would be an easy fix. BTW when mine pops at the throttle body the engine dies.

Did you change the injector offsets for the new injectors. The offset changes for different injectors. The stockers are pretty fast, though larger injectors can take a little longer to open. The offset will accomodate this for different voltage levels to ensure the injector is firing at the right time. The manufacturer can supply these values.

Are you using the Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator that hangs off the fuel rails? If so, you may want to try switching back to a stocker to fix the fuel pressure fluxuation problem. I had one that leaked fuel through the diaphram into the intake which caused the car to run really rich at idle.

Hmm, I'll check that. Thanks.

I thought about that but it appears to be working correctly. I could try swapping the f-body MAF that is currently on my 9C1. I also have a granatelli but most people tell me not to use it.
