just wondering if anybody on there camaro has used a diesel turbo on there car. I thought about using one of a 6.5 diesel. what yall think. I havent found out much about them but i just can get my hands on one.

 

Those are only good to around 15psi on a 6.5L diesel motor spinning up to less than 3000 rpm. You'll probably max it out at around 6psi on a 5.7L spinning to 5700 rpm.

It would probably be a good choice for a V6 build, but my opinion is that it's too small for any LT1/LS1 build.

 

im sure someone will chime in and tell in detail why.... no it wont work on your car sorry.

 

it depends on which turbo you want, there are some that will work awesome but others that will flat out suck. a 6.5 probably isn't a good choice, i would look for more like an hx40-55.
