Diamond 11428 Pistons??

Okay So I am just weighing my options atm. I am assuming I am gonna need to go .040 over on my block bc it was originally .030 over and saw 25psi, then my buddy bought it and honed it just to clean it up. So I am gonna guess I need to go .040 over to insure I clean up the cylinders.

What is everyones input on Diamond pistons? I have heard lots of good.

They are 2618 alloy forged of course also -31cc dish so it would put me around 8.6ish compression

Also they ar 620 from VRE.

Also what is everyones piston to wall clearence around .005-.007? Thats what I have read on forged pistons at least.

also I will be selling my JE -28CC Pistons (4.030) (6inch rod) to anyone interested

Jay

I didn't install them - but I do tune a car that runs those pistons and for the money seem to be great so far. Motor has been apart a few times and the pistons still look great. It is an 88mm setup around 20psi.

Check the walls though. It may be fine with another hone.

I went on another site that lists them as 2618.

Seems lately always best to check the part number with the people who made it. Like the Mahles that everyone except Mahle lists them as 4032.
