D1SC pulleys hitting fan motors. Need advice!

I got the T/A back and I noticed that both fan motors are really close and at some point have rubbed the blower belt on the driver side and the crank pulley on the passenger side. I have the top of the radiator pulled as close as I can to the front of the car. Is there any way to move the fans closer to the radiator. Do I need to go with slimmer fans? If so which ones? Thanks!

when i installed my p1sc i had to place the spacers supplied in the kit that moved the fans closer to the radiator. now my drivers side fan motor is almost flush with the assembly. they are aluminum spacers and if you don't have them just pull the fan assembly out and you can easily space the motor closer to the radiator with washers and longer bolts.

I have in the past removed the stock fan and got a 12" slim fan. I mounted it directly to the radiator and it fit in the hole on the stock schroud. I did not have any cooling issues. This was so I could get a filter on my turbo, but the turbo was in the same place as your blower

I yanked out my A/C with coils, and with an aftermarket radiator cover up top, was able to move the radiators and fans a good inch and a half forward (as mine were touching at times as well). This cleared it for me. However you may want to do what SMOKNZ mentioned and get some smaller aftermarket fans.

I just used spacers between the fan motors and the shroud and got longer fan screws from the hardware store.

Just move your radiator forward, lol. Takes me no time to change a blower pulley.

I run a 12 rib w/ no problem. Plenty of clearance but not like TA Kid.

I pulled the fans out and spaced them like you guys said and they have a lot more room. The passenger side is still "somewhat" close. I haven't drove the car yet to see if the torquing of the engine will move enough to hit it. But it is further away!! Thanks for the help!!
