So many intakes. Which one?
So many intakes. Which one?
So I'm building a forged 383 with a big blower(D1SC-F1A) and reverse flow cooling SBC heads that flow in the 320cfm range and I am wondering what intake to go with. I'd like to see somewhere in the 700+rwhp range and won't be spinning the motor past around 6500rpm since I'll be using the stock PCM for now.
Should I just use a ported LTx manifold?
Or there is the single plane conversion? I already have a Vic Jr and a 4 barrel TB.
Or there is the Mini ram?http://www.tpis.com/index.php?module...niRam+Manifold
Or the Holley Stealth Ram?http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
And through some searching I see Accel even has one?http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
My car will be strictly street driven with track passes a couple times a year, some autocross events and roadracing once a year.
I'd also like to keep everything under a fiberglass SS hood. I know I can make the Vic Jr single plan work with a custom elbow, but I am just wondering if there is a "better" intake out there for my needs.
