Did some searching but found very little regarding modified fuel rails for LT1 cars. Is there a vendor out there that makes them? Looking for something to support 900hp flywheel. Overkill but rather have it then come up short. This is on 93 383 and YSI that will require it.

Most of the ones I've seen retain the stock rails, but have AN fittings welded to the ends of the rails. I would ask Rich Krause. He used the stock lines and rails up to 700 RWHP but stated that modifications were needed after that level, he's currently in the 1000 RWHP range so he should know what you need.

Most of the ones I have seen use stock rails but modified. They take the liners out and Weld AN fittings on the ends. On the 93's I have seen them do this and then weld AN fittings in the front and make a Y and put the regualtor and return line there. I'm pretty sure Tony Shepard had his LT1 setup this way, at least before he switched to a Single plane.

Hmmm......you'd think somebody would've put a corner on this market seeing how there seems to be a lot of high end HP LT1's.

Somebody has to be doing this on the side somewhere. I looking for the same thing myself but a few months down the line.

All you really need is a tig welder, some fittings, and a grinder/cut off wheel. Modifying the rails is actually pretty cheap. It's the additional cost from the fuel pressure regulator, additional fittings, and the hose that deters most people from doing it.

I'm in the middle of going from stock with blower to forged with turbo.. I've allready got most of the fuel system components in or on the way. I was doing really good at keeping costs down until I got to the pumps and regulator.

BTW, modifying the rails was easy.

look at page two of my car domain site...used some left over 3/8 tubing on the front of the rails with -6 tube nuts and sleeves for my return, and weld on -8 feed on the back of each rail that is y-ed into the -10 feed line...

BTW, using the hard alumin fuel line for nearly the entire length of the car, i saved alot of money, i dont understand why people run stainless braided all the way from the tank to the rails $$$ ...5/8 hard line for main line fits the -10, and 3/8 hard line return fits the -6...from jegs its like $25 for 25 feet of the hard line...

We also have the option of using the Pure Choice Motorsports connectors that just slip onto the stock hard lines and coverts them into -6AN

Most people will run hard line from the tank or pump up to the fender with the braided lines going from the fender to the rails/regulator.

Those fittings kinda defeat the purpose of adding fittings to the rails. They are more for looks than actual performance IMO.

stainless lines from tank about 4 feet till under the car, then the hard lines all the way up to under the inner fender, where they go back to stainless...and then through the stock fuel line hole in the fender
