Crank case pressure and blowers
Crank case pressure and blowers
What are you guys doing to revlieve crank case pressure?
I currently ONLY have the valve cover breather and that is it. I do NOT have the PCV valve connected as it seems to result in oil coming through the blower and intercooler.
I was thinking of a crank case evac system and a guy at the GM dealership had a great idea. Use my air pump in reverse. He suggested I get one of those Moroso oil tank things and have the air pump suck rather then blow. He also added that I would need to also use the valve that is attached to the manifold /air pump for some reason that I now forget.
What do you guys think? What are some of you doing?
Here is a system similar in design
