Crane TRC-2 Timing Retard Control Module for sale
Works fine but my Crane HI-6 was suspect for a problem when dyno tuning so I converted to all MSD equipment. I had a lot of other problems like bad sensors, valvesprings, loose plugs, etc ......so, there is a possibility the Crane HI-6 is really just fine if anyone's interested in it as well (just give me $20.00 over shipping if you want it). The TRC-2 always worked like it should. I would dial in maximum retard and it felt like I was towing a boat. If I didn't dial in some retard I would get knock retard ....so it obviously worked. Only about 3K miles put on the Crane parts.
The TRC-2 timing retard works fine and is $75.00 and I pay shipping.
The Crane HI-6 did not display any problems evident when driving the car. However, when it was hooked up there was a dip in the power curve on the dyno at about 4,000 RPM. When it was bypassed the dip went away so it was blamed for the problem. However, later on it was discovered I was getting valve float from weak springs and I had a faulty knock sensor. If someone wants to take a chance on it they can give me $20.00 plus shipping. If not, I will use it as a doorstop like most people do
