Post Centrifugal Showdown

I've read around the forum for a while...and there are many different people with even more opinions on the topic of Superchargers.

I was hoping we could get a friendly showdown between Centrifugals(company/design) here. It's hard to keep it to a specific car, so why don't we set a boost limit...say, 5-8 lbs boost. Since that's "safe" for a bone-stock engine.

I don't want to limit people's input, but I think the FI noobs (me) would appreciate input from mostly owners...since they would obviously have some level of expertise in the subject.

You can argue Aftercooled/intercooled (whatever you call it) or non-cooled...you can argue craftsmanship(quality), reliability/longevity, customer service...ease, or lack thereof of install. It would be nice to argue why (or why not) Centrifugal superchargers shadow other forms of competition (just try not to get to off topic on that - stick to the Centrifugal side of it).

Feel free to use other companies than these, but these are the main centrifugal blower companies that I know of (again, noob): Vortech, Procharger, and Paxton....

Sorry if i made this seem rather limiting, but I want this to be a mass information center for people looking into FI (specifically blowers)....

Thanks All!

I am more than satisfied with my p600b @ 8psi. It went on without a hitch, performs great, and has not made any problems with the stock internals/LT1.
