Im putting my car back together and was woundering if any one had any good cam suggestions. I have a 383 w/ AFR210 and a big Beck sheetmetal intake and D1 procharger, I have run Two different solid rollers already one just over 600 lift and 232/238 duration at .050, the second was 660/667 and 248/252 @.050 but ive decided to go back to a hydraulic roller and was looking for something that will pull in the higher rpm's and responded well to the boost. Any suggestions?

How did the two cams you listed behave?

 

they both made good power but it was all up high so thats part of the reason im going back to a hydraulic, not to mention the larger one was only about .030 away from coilbinding the valve springs and id sure hate to hand granade a motor for just a few more ponies. Im sure theres good power to be gained from a good custom grind, but I dont trust a minimum wage technician behind a computer to tell me what my motor needs, Im looking for some personal experience or a good recomendation of an experienced cam grinder. Thanks
