Cam GP Decision
Cam GP Decision
Hey guys,
Combination Motorsports is having a cam kit GP I was thinking of getting in on. Anyway, I was looking at two of their cams for the blown 383 I'm building up.
TS-227XR 227/239 duration, .560"/.577", 114lsa
TS-230XR 230/239 duration, .555"/.577", 114lsa
They look pretty similar, one having a bit more intake duration while the other has more (not much) intake lift. Would these cams work well for a daily driven 383 with an S trim or should I stick to the 224/236 cam?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Just had a thought (strange as that may sound
), how would the supercharger run with a turbo cam? I'd seriously like to ditch the vortech and go with a PTK kit sometime in the future. Any problems doing this? Maybe something like this.
