Thanks malvo, I was looking at your site today and wishing i hadn't just spent 225 bucks on MSD superconductor's and (supposed to be) over cover billet looms.
....as usual....
I need to download "freescan" or "datamaster" and get some info...I have the AKM cable but i just got cable internet at home...
Very frustrating after putting it together....2500+ miles and it hasn't been right yet.
.....and on top of this crap, i'm getting divorced!.....hell, i'm screwed coming and going....

Ok, this may seem like a stupid question but have you had your car programmed for the 30lb injectors? Are the new ones? The reason I ask is I got some used 30lb injectors from a friend and 1 of them had a bleed down problem at first which was fixed with a pressure cleaning. But as Maldo said I always suspect the opti, I hate that thing. Lastly is your MAF on the pressure side, I have found that if you install it on the pressure side it can take a lot of variables out of the equation (I.E boost bleed out and blow off turbulence).

Thanks...I'm bettor now.. ...Anyway, MAF is on the intake side and the car has PCMFORLESS tuning for the injector's....

So today, i load my kids up to take them back to their mom...
...I turn the key and start the car, 42 psi on the gauge...couple seconds later,FP spikes the Autometer gauge around to ZERO!
That's like a 125 psi!...Blows the quick connect fitting apart at the fuel filter... WTF????...I put it back on, fuel all over the garage floor of course. Clean up the mess and just turn the key "on". It tried to spike AGAIN!...I ended up pulling the fuse for the inline pump and it held 40 on the intank pump, so i drove it. I was almost home later and it had crept up to around 60 and was HOLDING there..... Hmmmmmm....shut it off, pressure fell, i started it back up.....60 psi....I had to drive my friend home, went a couple a blocks and it crept up to 70psi ...turned around and went home....
I have a 3 year old Aeromotive AFP Reg, an inline pump and a new Walbro 255lph in tank......I'm so damn sick of spending money on this thing....and it has almost 3k miles on this combo and it hasn't run right yet!
I wonder if my FMU is working correctly? I wonder if the damn things fuel lines are reversed...I'm wondering what would cause a FP spike like THAT????
I'm wondering if i should shove it out in my Cul-de-sac and burn it!
.... Hmmmm, that made feel bettor just THINKING about it....
Anyone?

I just reversed the lines on the back of the FMU....No change sitting idling....With the inline pump running, 62 psi.
If i pull the fuse for the inline pump, the intank pump holds at 40 psi, but when you bring the RPM's up, fuel pressure DROPs a bit, not rises.....WTF?????
Bad FMU??? FP reg????....Please help...
