boost tolerance scale?

Im just trying to find a scale or somethign showing, for a reverse cooled LT1, about how much boost is safe for given compressions. In my case intercooled, and by safe I dont mean tolerate for an iffy amount of time like running 6-8 lbs on a stock shortblock

I dont think there can be a scale. You can run only 4psi and probably nuke it with bad gas and a bad tune if you really wanted to on a hot day. With a good tune people are having the stock longblock take 8-10 or more for atleast 15 seconds... I think the idea for a fits-all scale would be great, but there are too many variables... Some people survive on 8psi for 30,000mi, while others blow up after 1,000 or less...

Well I am looking into how much I could run with low 9's compression, (maybe 9.2 or 3) intercooled and atleast a decent tune... I mean it couldnt be a blind guess, although mine is around 12 lbs....?
