I have vortech v-9 supercharger on my 2000 camero. Would like to know when the car is running does the boost gauge read in the minus? Mind is at minus 20 at idle. Should the gauge be at O at idle?

 

minus is Vacuum, read in, "in/hg" and yes at idle you should be in the -10-12 id say on up to 20-25 mark, maybe more?. the more vac at idle the better condition the motr is in i always thought, so 20 is pretty good, especially if its stock bottom end
