When i was racing my car at the track friday night, it pulls like crazy in first gear but in second and the rest of the gears it stops pulling hard at about 5000 rpms and 5.4 psi of boost and it does it every time. It is a 8psi procharger. In first gear the boost reads about 8p.s.i at 5900 rpms. And also im getting a Engine Code 11 on my OBD-1 PCM conversion.

First will pull no matter what so scratch that. This is recent? Well have you done any diagnostics? Clogged air filter....intake tube collapsing....belt slipping....blow-off valve sticking...

 

That's what I'd think. The Prochargers had a bad habit of doing that, especially at the elbow on the bottom of the charger. Seen it happen on several different cars on the dyno.

 

What's the fix of the intake tube, how can u tell if it's failing.

 

Next time it's on a dyno. Have someone watch the tubing, especially the rubber elbows. It's pretty obvious when it happens.

To fix it, you can either fab up a metal elbow or buy a rubber cobrahead fitting from a semi parts store.
