Bolt ons for supercharger

I'm looking into going the supercharded route in the next year or two. Just wanted to start with all the bolt ons now and do it right. It will be a 355 forged motor when I get the supercharger. Right now I'm just doing a lot of searches and research. What size throttle bodies do you guys use? 58mm monoblade? Anything else besides what in my sig? I know injectors, ignition upgrade, and I will be going longtubes eventually. Thanks.

As far as bolt ons, it really won't be any different than that of a strong N/A car would. The things that will be different is the fuel system (injectors, fuel pumps ect.), as well as the tuning, and motor setup.

The biggest thing is having a ton of extra $. A cheeply built motor, for a forced infuction application, with the supercharger itself, and the bells and whistles to make it work will run you a a good $12,000. If you want the higher quality parts that will withstand and put out more power, you'll spend more like $17,000 or so like I did.

I guess past the $ for the blower, and setup, I would reccomend a stronger rear-end, as you will easily blow out your stock one, as well as a stronger driveshaft, LT headers, 58mm throttle body (mine is a 58mm LPE), as well as a stronger tranny. Then, if you want to hook up, some drag springs and shocks, as well as a tubular K-member and upper and lower A-arms.

Again the biggest thing here is $. You figure alltogether between the suggested mods, and the blower setup, $28,000 or so.

Thanks for the info. With that being said, it may take me another two years to save up, but I will eventually get it done and it will be done right.
