Thumbs up Blower Motors Finished (PICS)

Got my blower motor finished, here is a quick run down.

Eagle forged RA
3.48/5.7/-24 dish JE's
Trickflow Heads
224-236-114
Pacesetter LT's

All I have to do now is break it in and put the P1SC back on!

Here are some pics, I never post pics so I'll give it a try.

That intake looks really nice. I'm interested what kind of numbers you'll make with those trickflows.

Well it went from this

To this.

I painted the intake with the same paint that I redid the engine bay with. You can see the way it used to look in this pic, and in the one above but it is hard to see.

Nice setup!. The paint on that intake looks really sharp. Do you have a part number on that Milodon oil pan on your motor? Do you know yet if it clears the steering rack? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Pan is 30909, clears my rack, but It does not have a place for the low oil sensor. I just removed it

Re: Blower Motors Finished (PICS)

nice...

i did notice something odd though. My trickflows don't say "TrickFlow LT1 195cc" on the front like yours do. The front and back are just machined smooth. I think mine may have been one of the early sets though -- they've been around a while.

>Looks great, but some advice pressure wash the engine compartment and paint the valve covers before you install.
I ended up pressure washing after and using alot of rags to fit in small areas and scratching the valve covers trying to install with engine in car.

But it looks great!

Re: Blower Motors Finished (PICS)

Great looking engine! Any tips on repainting the engine bay? My motor is out and my engine bay REALLY needs to be repainted.

I'm looking for how you preped the paint, sprayed the paint on, and if you used a clear coat or not.

Re: Blower Motors Finished (PICS)

Hey Chris,
That is the same combo I plan on running. Did you have the p1sc on there before with stock heads? Did you have any work done to the trick flows?
I am curious about the power difference between stock lt1's and stock trick flows.

Do you know the actual specs on when the cam opens and closes the valves?(Intake & exhaust -- btdc, atdc, bbdc, abdc?)
