Blower or Juice (that is the question)

Check my sig and see what you think. I wasn't sure if my compression was too high for a blower. I built it with the intent of a 175 shot but the more i think about it the more i want a blower. and if i can supercharge it then what psi do you think would be safe. Kind of a rookie at this so please don't make me explode my motor.

Based on your mod's, it's better set up for Nitrous.

The cam is probably on the large side for a blower. The powerband would be all top-end. BTW, the CC306 is 230/244, not 240/250 like your sig. says.

Plus, the compression's a little high. You might run 6 psi, but I'd pull alot of timing out to keep it safe. If you pull timing out, then the combo isn't living up to its potential.

And the blower wouldn't give you 175 hp at 6 psi. . .

there have been people with 175 shots on shot shortblocks you may want more. The nitrous will give better results because your compression will always be holding you back if you went with a blower. Look into a 2 stage kit or a progressive controller.

juice sounds good to me. And my cam is a custom grind off of a cc306 so it is 240/250 i guess i should have stated that.

Agree with the nitrous suggestions. Seems like a nice combo for N2O.
