Which is the better blower cam...

Comp XE 218/230 .495/.510 114LSA

or

Comp XE 224/236 .502/.520 114LSA

Just wondering which one would be better for my setup (built bottomend, 9.5:1, vortech s-trim 10-11psi, unintercooled, stock heads). Common knowledge would say the first, but I've been reading about a lot of people getting great power out of blower cars with the 224... jsut wondering what all your thoughts on it were, since I'l be swappin out my 214/222 112lsa pretty soon

Neither is "better". They are "different" though. How do you use the car? What driving characteristics are most important to you? Are emissions an issue? Etc.

Let me rephrase... which cam would make better power with my setup across the board? Emissions are no issue, I'm looking strictly for power gains.

The bigger cam. You should pulley your SC to max out at ~6,000rpm.

Heh, thanks a lot, that's what I'd heard.
