check pulley alignment with a straight edge, or better yet (if you can borrow one) a laser aligner. also check for bracket flex. grab the blower and try to flex it. i have seen them move 1/2"

You need to make sure your blower pulley is not walking. I would remove the blower belt and make there is no play in your blower pulley. If there is then I would say it is time for a blower rebuild.

If that is not the case you may want to look at getting a SD concepts spring loaded tensioner.

My fan shroud would catch the edge of the belt. I took the old dremal tool out and went to town on the shroud and it now works great. It has been years since I have the problem. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help guys.I think I will check the alignment again.I changed that when I put this belt on and I have just noticed the back off the belt is shreading this time. The last two belts shreaded on the front.I forgot to mention this is a 12 rib system. If that matters. Thanks again.
