Back at the track again :D:D:D
Back at the track again :D:D:D
My best pass was 10.201 @ 136.68.
I was stoked, made 6 passes and all but one was a 10.2XX pass and the one that didn't make a 10.2 was a 10.305
The day went as follows
1.553 sixty ft - 10.281 @ 134.32
1.563 sixty ft - 10.305 @ 134.12
1.512 sixty ft - 10.201 @ 136.68
1.541 sixty ft - 10.249 @ 133.66
1.549 sixty ft - 10.243 - 134.51
1.538 sixty ft - 10.238 @ 133.87
I had a rematch with the green 72 duster that I pounded last week and the results were the same.
The car is getting pretty consistent.
I was using the same tune as last weekend but the weather was somewhat better, 73/74 on the first few passes then it got to 82 on a dudes TAG portable weather station.
Really looking forward to some October weather
And yes still running catalytic converter.

It spins out of the hole somewhat / sometimes but I'm working on it.
I've got under 10 passes on it with the new converter and have been working on getting the VE table right so I've haven't been too agressive with the launch.
I've tried tire pressure (running Hoosier QTP 27 x 11.5 x 15) between 12-14 and so far 13 seems to work best for me.
RE: RPM - I've tried leaving at idle and up to 1800 so far.
My best launch was with 13 psi and 1500 rpm and just put it to the wood and hold on

Maybe higher rpm and lower tire pressure will yield better sixty ft times.
I'm sure the stock tires (16x8) and stock springs / shocks and battery up front are not helping.

Also what is your fuel setup?
Also what is your fuel setup?

I'm running a Vigilante 5 disc t/c 36-3800 stall.
I'm running twin intanke 255 Wal-Bro fuel pumps with the second pump coming on via a hobbs switch @ 2 lbs of boost, -8 feed lines and K&N inline fuel filter, a Weldon f/p regulator and -6 return lines.

way to go Marc.
You have my envy.
Hope to drop the motor in the car in about 2 weeks myself. (for the third time)
Could you send me your tune?
