Is Axis Industries no more?

I tried going to their website and it no longer exists.

Is there anyone that makes a 90degree solid adapter that will eliminate the ORANGE drier hose that connects to the back of a P1SC blower?

I'm having problems with my drier hose (it won't fit between the blower and the steering rack, if I move it beside the blower, it rubs on the inner fender and the steering rack and then the bypass valve port is in the way of the blower output).

I'd rather just replace it with something solid that would actually fit.

It seems like there website is down. I am not sure if their shop is still open. If you do a search you will find that people have made there own solid piece.

I have seen people make their own solid piece from the orange hose to the air filter, but haven't seen any that replace the orange hose.

Replacing the dryer duct piece wouldn't be easy. You'd have to be pretty handling w/ a mandrel and a welder. I'm sure it can be done, it's just a matter of how good it looks.

When my car is back together I am taking it to a shop that says they can make me one to replace the orange hose. I will post pics.

Axis is not out of business, they just went back to their roots basically. It's a machine shop that did a lot of business in the turbo diesel arena. After dabbling in the performance market for a while with custom turbo setups, the rights to the kits that were developed were sold. Now it's back to the basics.

I have the prototype hard intake tube on my car. To my knowledge it's the only one of its kind to hit the streets from their shop. It's too bad, too. The thing is awesome. Next time I have the car up in the air I'll take a pic of it and post it.

Sure would be nice if they would actually produce the tube. You would think that after they had developed a prototype, it should be really easy to make more. It appears there is demand.
