ATI PCV modification???
I don't understand what ATI wants me to do with the pcv. Can anyone explain this to me a little better. I understand that they want you to move it because of the change from vac to positive. They don't show any pics of this and word it pretty bad. any help would be great.

basicly you need a valve cover breather or else when you go to start it you dip sticks going to become a projectile, happen numerous times to friends, but if you have the money buy a crank case evacuator, it will even free up a couple hp.
Thanks but what do i do with the rest of the pcv Ati wants me to reroute the hoses on both sides one from the valve cover the other from the PCV on the driver side of the intake manifold?

All you have to do is on the passenger side remove the hose going from the TB to the valve cover. Cap of the barb on the TB, put a filter on the valve cover.

I called ATI yesterday. I kept my driverside PCV system stock, but they told me if i do that, I will pressurize the intake and blow my seals. I think I am just gonna do what they say. They built it, they should know the best way it works.
A PCV valve is a 1 way check valve so it should stop reverse flow. I now leave them connected on my installs with no problems as this allows the crankcase system to function as originally intended & should shut under boost.
If you have a bad PCV or excessive blowby you can still pressurize the crankcase.

The reason i was concerned about the stock pcv set up is because i bought a brand new pcv valve and blew in it before installing it. yeah it closed, but now way does it seal. if i was able to get a lot of air to pass thru there with my mouth, imagine a blower.
I did not like the idea of the PCV valve venting in front of the blower. I found a disrurbing amount of engine oil just in front of the MAF. I ran with a breather only for a while.
This caused me to leak at the rear main seal.
For the build under way now I have bought an electric vacuum pump, oil seperator cap and puke tank. Of course installing it remains an unanswered question.

You could do what I'll be doing and installing this PCV shutoff valve in the line, should stop boost from getting through. websight here http://www.bowlinggreencustoms.com/s...tomer/home.php
If you have too much crankcase vacuum you can actually risk sucking air an particles in through the rear main seal or through the timing cover gasket. Or worse, you could suck a gasket completely which will require more work that you bargained for.
Bottom line (after reading various threads) seems to be that while you don't want to allow any boost into the crankcase or lifter valley, you're probably fine with just a vent filter on the valve cover(s).
You can probably leave the PCV setup on the driver's side of the intake alone--but make sure you have a good PCV valve so you're not getting boost into the lifter valley.

I haven't touched my car in a month after installing my procharger within three days i developed a lot of cc pressure. I vented the ds valve cover with a breather and left the pvc alone I can't imagine that in three days i lost a piston. this thing pukes serious oil now. any ideas?
