ATI new 8 rib setup results

After all the fiasco with my rear end and getting everything right, the SC installation is done and the dyno was done today. The car dyno'd 535rwhp 480rwtq at only 7.5lbs at 6000RPM only!!! (Cam peak at 6400RPM) The graph was still going up, but they had to shut down because it was leaning out really fast (From high 11's to high 12's AF). The fuel pressure is around 55psi, but the injector duty cycle is around 130% . So i need larger injectors, but what **** me off is that i only have these injectors in the car for 30 min. Im really happy with the results so far.

Looks pretty stout, I take it that you are not having any belt slippage issues? Also, what poundage pulley are you using and what are your motor mods? Is it a stock short block? I think that I am going to go with the 12 rib setup when I get one!

No slip problems soo far... ATI fixed their problem with the new 8 rib setup. Some people are running 12-14psi on them with no slipping problems. My SC pulley is 4.25 which should be good for 9.5psi by 6400rpm or so.
The engine and drivetrain mods are: FLP LT headers, Hooker Catback, FM7 224/230 .587 .593 114LSA cam, 26918 springs(Upgrading to Dual springs, should be here monday), Ti Retainers, Chromoly pushrods, 42lbs injectors (Upgrading to 60lbs injectors, should be here Wed), Walbaro Fuel Pump, ATI D-1SC new 8 Rib setup, Mcloed clutch, 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears and all the suspension mods. The short block is stock. I think 12 rib is an overkill.... 8 rib will do just fine especially if u got the SDEC setup.

I never measured it, but im using the ATI superdamper. It should be around 6.75 or something like that. Im not sure.

Here is a pic for the 6 rib and 8 rib setup http://www.msnusers.com/CarsRelatedG...oto&PhotoID=46
U can see that the 8 rib crank pulley is larger.

I guess I just don't understand how you can make 9 psi with a 4.25" blower pulley.

The only way to make that much boost is that if i have a crank pulley around 7" which could be the case with the new 8 rib setup.

Re: ATI new 8 rib setup results

Do they offer an 8" crank pulley? If so, do you think it will fit a Vortech setup?

After asking around.... The crank pulley size is 7.65". That means im running around 44000rpm at 6000rpm and almost 49000rpm at 6600rpm.
