ATI damper and crank hub

I am going to a 383 with Vortech T-trim. After installing the ATI damper, my installer is saying that the Vortech 6 inch crank pulley will not bolt up? Anyone ran into this problem? Solutions?

It won't bolt up the the damper or it doesn't line up with the supercharger pulley?

More than likely the studs to the crank pulley are a larger diameter and need to be tapped. I had to do it to mine on my 12 rib. Not really a problem if he has all the tools to tap and thread. Took me a hr to to all 3 holes.

Haha Im having the same problem, Victory called me yesterday to let me know that the Vortech Pulleys holes are too big for the ati damper as the ati uses smaller bolts than stock, so theyve gotta drill three new holes into the pulley. no big deal

Talking Re: ATI damper and crank hub

I called Vortech and they told me their crank pulley is not designed for aftermarket dampers. They recommended I call ASP (Automotive Specialties). I called them and they make a custom pulley which will work with the ATI Damper for $275. I went ahead and got the custom crank pulley in 7 inch instead of 6 inch as it was custom anyway and same price. I guess I will be sending back the 6 inch Vortech pulley which cost $219. Thanks for the info...
