Anyone use the Tech Edge Wideband?

I have the Tech edge Wideband Kit and was wondering if there was anyone around that had it or knows anyone that has it. All i have left to do is weld in another O2 bung and try to hook it up to a logger of some sort. It has a display, but I'd really like to log the AF ratio per Rpm. It would make tuning really easy. I have a laptop and a Palm PC for logging purposes. It would just be nice to be able to talk to someone who has already done it. Thanks

Bill

I have a techedge and its real nice. I haven't logged rpms yet, as I have the original version. Now they have the 1.5 which has logging built in, sucks I had to be first to get a new toy. Next gen stuff is always better. Did you get your with a new O2 sensor? I had a used one and it was a bit off. There is a guy on honda-tech.com that is selling his Palm pilot setup with the TE WB datalogging software right now for like 65 bucks. I thought about getting it, but I might just splurge on the new WB kit.

I too have a TE 1.0. I bought a $25 Dataq aquistion unit to do the logging. I'm gonna get one of the 2.0 when they come out. I'd be interested to know if anyone is logging thru the pcm yet.

There is a guy on the LT1Edit list who used one of the AC pressure inputs to log. However he said it didnt work out very well, apparently something in there was giving him inconsistant readings.

No it didn't come with a O2 sensor. They are quite expensive. I found one at NAPA.com for $139, but they were on back order and they had no idea when they would come in. I have a FAST system laying around and it too uses the NTK L1H1 sensor, so i just used that one as it has low hours on it. I have the version 1.5 kit with display. Tech edge has some DOS software for logging i may try. I just found out that my Palm PC doesn't have the right software to use the logging software availiable right now. It needs to use Palm OS version 2.0 or greater, and my palm uses Windows. Oh well Office max has one that has palm OS for $100 that I may pick up.
