anyone got any FMIC pics?
anyone got any FMIC pics?
Ok, im looking to fab a FMIC on a '94 TA. Its going to be a custom kind of setup since im going to be running a powerdyne head unit but thats not whats imoprtant, I will work those bugs out when its on the car. My concern is the lack of space to do this and I DO NOT want to cut apart any body panels. I wanted to go with the twin ATI setup and thought I had one but it was bought out from under me
Anyways,.....now im looking to just go with a p600B 2 core I/C or any FMIC setup but where/how will it fit? Ive searched here and the web with little luck. Anyone got any pics/advice for me? And I dont want to hear buy a different S/C. This is what I have to work with and thats whats going on the car as of now. Planning on about 7-9 psi of boost b4 the I/C.

That's going to be my next project also. Hard to do with TA's without cutting up the front end. Do a search for "Front mount intercooler" and "FMIC". You will find a lot of posts and ideas.

Re: anyone got any FMIC pics?
Yeah see, camaros are a little easier because theres stuff you can cut out that wont look all that bad as well as the LS1 TA's like the one above. Unfortunately for this purpose my '94 TA doesnt leave me any options for mounting a FMIC. The nose comes to a point and ive seen one where the guy cut it out and IMO it looked like complete ****. The nose of this car is one of the main cosmetic features I fell in love with on this car and I cant see hacking it up to create an opening for a FMIC. One idea I suppose may work is removing both of my fog lights and using the openings with some duct work to create an "airbox". Any ideas on that or has anyone done this? Thanks for the pics so far guys.
