when installing your own ram air mod like this http://www.charm.net/~mchaney/ramair/ramair.htm

I dont see where the air is going to go with the box clamped shut thight will it still work or should I cut out the bottome of the stock box I dont want to wreck anything and I have the 9 X 6 hole out the bottom and the sheet metal ready to put in and with that box all sealed up Im not seeing were the air will go maybe Im wrong I need some expert advice that would help alot also what have you guys done sorry I forgot to ask would it also be ok maybe if I took off the air filter and put it back down there and not clamp the box shut so it would just have half the box in there???
