Hey still planning a 434 sbc and was looking at the afr 227 heads.I see they come in a standard exhaust & spread port exh.Are one of a benifit than the other?I tried calling AFR but they had me on hold so long I had to hang up.I was at work and they be closed by the time I get off.Will be using a F1 s/c figure I would ask you guys that have some experience.Thanks

 

Depends on what header you are going to use. Can you get a stahl pattern header for your car? if you can this is the way to go as you can use bigger primary tubes that will not block the exhaust port.
