Aeromotive AFPR

Should I see a difference in fuel pressure when I connect and disconnect the Vacume line to the regulator? Seems like I did when I first set it.

I noticed my car has been leaning out on the top end a little bit and I checked my fuel pressure. Its dropping to about 25psi when I get on the gas, with the car idling the fuel pressure doesnt rise like it should when I remove the vacume leak.

This is the boost sensitive regulator by the way. What a piece of crap, had nothing but problems with it.

When I first went to install it one of the brackets was bent 180* the wrong direction.

Then after driving the car for a month I was leaking fuel badly b/c the fittings all loosened up. They must have been just tight enough that i couldnt tell they were loose and it didnt leak when I first got it running.

Now this stupid problem.

Aeromotive FPR.... On side note every accel item I have purchased has also failed, sounds like their Opti is a pile too. IMO keep as much ac delco as you can! My accel coil failed at 4500 rpm and above...

Sounds like you got the bracket for the Corvette instead of F-body. The fittings should always be checked on anything like that before you install it. You sure you have enough fuel pump?

At idle, yeah, Im sure a stock pump could handle it. So I should be seeing a fuel pressure change when i connect and disconnect the vacume line. I have that now that i tool it apart and put it back together.

On the top end, I think I have a fuel pump issue
