About 10 years and.......
Fueling strategy, WBO2 support, better display, additional options etc.
They're really quite different. The Gen6 is pretty straight forward and can get a decent tune on most super/turbocharged combos. The Gen7 is quite abit more advanced, abit harder to tune with some of the additional algorithms but, offers the ability to get abit more precise.

Gen 6 is a little outdated, but will do all you need for a turbo, S/C or wild N/A setup. Only drawback is it will only power HighZ injectors unless you get the VIC controller, or impedance convertor box.
