About to install a Powerdyne - a few questions
My motor has 116k miles on it.
What should I do to prep it for a 6psi supercharger?
What kind of fuel injectors should I get?
I'll be fixing the intake manifold leak before I install of course.
Also, the kit I'm getting is for a 93. How do I make it work for a 96?
I heard I just need to get a few items from a hardware store.
I have a smaller crank pulley, do I have to go back to stock?

First of all - a your stock motor probably wont last too long after the supercharger is installed due to the high mileage - even at only 6 psi.
As far as the installation - I think the only difference between the '93's was that they included an injector upgrade. If you are changing the injectors, then I would at least put 30 lb. injectors on, or go to 36 lb. for some extra room.
Yes, you should switch your crank pulley back to the stock one if you have it still. Your belt will not fit right and you will get a different amount of boost if you have an aftermarket pulley on there.
If you want any hopes of it lasting a while - at least do some methanol/water injection or intercool it - and make sure you get a conservative tune that is dead on.

Maybe I'll stick with 4.5 psi to make it last a little longer.
I'm thinking of getting some 30 lb injectors.
When the motor blows, which part is the weakest link?
I don't mind swapping motors but I has to last until my little commuter car is put back together. Currently, I have a miata with port and polished intake manifold and head. The bottom end is getting taken apart before I take it to a shop to get it blueprinted. Getting it ready for a turbo.
Thanks

I have only had the thing in for 6 months and i am having issues with noise from the valve covers. The car seems to idle a little rough and has a hard start something. I figure i'll run it till it dies and upgrade the parts to last longer next time. I am kinda looking for to the rebuild as my car is not as fast as i would like and it should scream with the new combo.
