97 Vortech install problem - Please help!

I am attempting to install an S trim on an LT1 383 in my 97 Z28. I have all of the factory brackets and I am following the Vortech install manual. The manual goes through relocating the cruise control box, but I have a brake controller in the way. I think it is an anti-lock controller. Has anybody else had this problem? I do not see a way of relocating it so that the brake lines will still be within reach of reconnecting them. Somebody on here must have come across this problem before. Vortech's site seems to currently be down, so I haven't been able to check it. Explaining what you did to correct this situation would be very appreciated. Pictures would be even better! Thanks.

hey i just installed a powerdyne 2 months ago and had the same problem. its your taction control box. there is a place that sells a relocation kit but i couldnt find it so this is what i ended up doing.but i dont have traction control anymore hahaha. but who needs it anyways!

-there are 2 units from the master
-the top one has 3 lines leaving: front L, front R, and Rear brakes
-the one that says Rear is the main feed for the traction control located right below
-out of this unit(the one in your way) are the 2 Rear brake lines.
-unplug the unit
-disconnect the brake lines
-remove unit
-make a mark about 2 1/2" below the top
-there are 2 cylinders inside the unit you want to be just above them
-cut through unit on this line with a grinder
-there will be 2 holes now on the bottom
-all you have to do is tap them out and fill the with a threaded plug.
-now reconnect the brake lines to your new T-fitting
-the lines are long enough to move your new T-fitting above the top unit.
it sounds like alot of work but its easier than having a T-fitting made to match the fittings on your brake lines, because theyre all different, this way is actually very simple.
good luck

zl1dreams thanks alot for the quick reply. Now that mention it that obviously is the traction control (which I don't need). The way I understand your post you are basically turning it into a T-fitting to do away with the traction control. Is this correct? Once again thank you very much for the response!

Good deal, thanks alot. I have a good enough connection field that I am sure I can find a T-Fitting that will fit rather than trying to modify the control valve.
