my car has the sending unit on the back of the block, well vortech says to screw in a short pipe they give you into the hole the sending unit came out of. well the hole is to small for the pipe and the parts they gave me give me no where to attach the sending unit to something? i have a picture of the hole where i took the sending unit out of- but don't know how to post and takes couple mins to download. please help

 

There should be a hole just above the Oil filter to use, Don't need to use the one on the back of the manifold.

 

is that where you hooked yours up at? why do they tell me to put it where the sending unit goes? can i get to the spot your telling me without taking off my headers?

 

can you take a picture of your feed line connection on your car for me?

Check out pages 9 and 10. If your oil pressure sending unit is on the back of the intake manifold you won't use the T fitting.

 

yeah but what happens to the sending unit? when i screw one of the fitting into its place it doesn't bolt up to anything else?
