396 T-trim boost

Anyone with something similar to mine that can tell about how much boost I will get once I put the SC'er on?
396 LT-1, 9.2:1 cr, AFR 227 heads, solid roller. Not inter/aftercooler, will be using alky/water. I am in the process of tuning (FAST) the engine without the SC right now.

Hey I am not sure how far Melbourne, FL is to you but I would highly recommend you give Cal Hartline a call. He is one of the best FAST tuners in the country. Tell him Arthur sent you. Check out his website: www.hartlineperformance.com.

Your boost level will depend on what blower pulley you are running and also how high you plan on spinning your car.

Cool, It sounds like your car is turning out pretty good. What size pulley do you have for the crank and blower pullies?. it all depends, with your setup if say you had it pullied for 15psi I would think you would only see about 11-12 due to the increase in cubic inches and the better flowing heads. What alky injection system did you get?.

I am pulley'd to max out the impeller speed at around 6600 rpms right now (7.6"/3.125", 8 rib). I may have to change to get it up to around 7000. I will know better once I see where my peak HP is NA.

I am using or will be using the SMC kit.

I wonder how much overspin it will take before it becomes detrimental. Have the guys you know Jordon taken them up much above max. The max for the T-trim is listed as 55000 with 52000 being the suposed optimum.

The pulley was part of the ASP package for my 8 rib set up. The pulley is actually part of the balancer on the Vettes.
