Twin intercooling?

Is there any advantage to using twin intercoolers versus one larger one ala the Audi TT? This is somthing I've wondered for awhile.

Thanks!

The advantage of using twin intercoolers on the f-body is ease of installation/ground clearance. ATI's earlier designs use a single intercooler hung really low. Of course, a larger single front mount intercooler is ideal, but that requires some custom fabrication. The ATI system is probably good to about 600-650 rwhp before a larger intercooler would help.

I put down 705 rwhp with my twin intercoolers. Ideally if you are running big hp then I would recommend going with a front mount.

Twin air/water intercoolers would be nice for packaging, especially with twin turbos like the system Harlan put together.
